Act 1 – Scene 1
The capulets and the montagues have a stir up on the streets and the prince has to stop them and he gives a firm warning.
Act 1 – Scene 2
Paris wants to marry Juliet so Capulet invites him to a ball to meet her, then the servant who is supposed to deliver the letters asks Romeo and Benvolio to read out the invitations which gives Benvolio an idea.
Act 1 – Scene 3
Lady Capulet tells Juliet and the Nurse about the proposed marriage between Juliet and Paris.
Act 1 – Scene 4
Benvolio and Mercurtio persuade Romeo to go to the ball with them.
Act 1 – Scene 5
Romeo meets Juliet at the ball, and Tybalt want a to start a fight but Capulet restrains him, then Juliet asks the Nurse about Romeo.
Act 2 – Scene 1
Romeo hides from his friends, while they joke about his love for rosaline, and he goes into the capulets house over their wall.
Act 2 – Scene 2
Juliet walks out to the balcony, unaware that Romeo is near, and confesses her feelings for him; they agreed to get married and will transition with Juliets messenger.
Act 2 – Scene 3
Romeo meets with the Friar and they arrange the wedding.
Act 2 – Scene 4
Mercutio makes fun of the nurse (Juliets messenger) and Romeo arranges with her to get married the next day.
Act 2 – Scene 5
The nurse delivers the message to Juliet.
Act 2 – Scene 6
Romeo and Juliet get married.
Act 3 – Scene 1
Romeo refuses Tybalts challenge so mercutio takes out his own sword and they fight which ends in mercutio and tybalt dying. Romeo gets banished.
Act 3 – Scene 2
Juliet is waiting for Romeo, when the nurse brings bad news of what has happened.
Act 3 – Scene 3
Friar Lawrence talks to Romeo and tries to find a solution for his problems.
Act 3 – Scene 4
Juliet’s father arranges for her and paris to get married.
Act 3 – Scene 5
Romeo must leave Juliet and their parting is emotional. Lady Capulet comes bearing news on the wedding.
Act 4 – Scene 1
Friar Lawrence comes up with a plan to save Juliet.
Act 4 – Scene 2
The capulet house is preparing for the wedding.
Act 4 – Scene 3
Juliet takes the vile that Friar Lawrence gave her.
Act 4 – Scene 4
The capulet house is still preparing for the wedding. Nurse goes to wake Juliet.
Act 4 – Scene 5
Juliet does not wake. The whole family come together to prepare for her funeral.
Act 5 – Scene 1
Romeo hears that Juliet is dead and returns to Verona to poison himself.
Act 5 – Scene 2
Friar sends a letter to Romeo that Juliet is not really dead but it arrives to late, then he goes to be with Juliet for when she wakes up.
Act 5 – Scene 3
Romeo meets Paris at the tomb who thinks he has come to vandalise it, then they fight and Romeo kills Paris. Romeo then kills himself at Juliets side and she sees and also kills herself. Friar then explains it all to the two families and they stop their fued.
